Standard Bearer Eddie Receives Certificate of Appreciation

At the July 2026 monthly meeting, Acting Chairman Tony Heasman presented our long time Standard Bearer, Eddie Jones with a Certificate of Appreciation for his long service to the Branch.  

Chris Goldsmith was also presented a Certificate of Appreciation for his many years service as Branch Treasurer.  This was delivered by Tony to Chris's home asa he is now unable to attend Branch meetings on a regular basis.

Branch Supports Opening of New Morrison's Local Store in Brixham

An invitation was received by our Secretary requesting a member of Paignton RBL to attend the opening of a new store in Brixham.  It seems that Brixham Branch were not contactable!

 Alan & Anne Port agreed to attend the opening ceremony on Thursday 9th July and together with the Mayor of Brixham, Cllr Clive Nicholls, they performed the official opening ceremony.

One of the company directors is an active reserve member of the Royal Logistics Corps and has offered to help out the RBL with further events such as the Poppy Appeal.  The company are planning to open further stores in the area in the next few months including one in Paignton. Torquay and Dartmouth.
