Summer lunch was held at the Lewis hall Kimbolton School on Sunday 30 July. Over 100 members attended. For pictures of the lunch see the photo gallery.

Lunch was served by our zealous staff of ladies who had prepared the food, while members of the committee had prepared the Hall appropriate to a Royal British legion lunch.

On the menu was a wonderful array or salads accompanied by salmon and gammon followed by an extravaganza of desserts, then cheese and biscuits.

Once lunch was finished, the floor was open to dancing and a fine group of musicians played right through till 4.30...when everybody was just about shattered.

A massive "all hands on deck" clear up ensured that the Hall was back to its pristine condition by 5.15.

Thanks to all who joined us for the lunch and then assisted in clearing up afterwards.
