WW1 COMMEMORATIONS June 2014
Those named on West Felton War Memorial together with the grandfathers, fathers and uncles of those now living in the village were honoured in displays with photos and memorabilia. Floral arrangements were each sponsored in fond remembrance of a loved one. A special evening service was deised and led by Canon Tony Sparham and featured the Orthopaedic Male Voice Choir.
This was followed by an al fresco meal in the Rectory garden for 105 people.

THE QUEEN'S DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS
The village celebrated in June 2012 with a weekend exhibition of flowers, history and memorabilia in the parish church - 60 GLORIOUS YEARS.
West Felton branch vice-Chairman Des Hughes stands guard over some of the Legion exhibits which comprised photos, scrapbooks and memorabilia.
A flavour of the exhibition, featuring Sylvia Williams, long-serving Poppy collector who raised the highest amount in her house to house collection in 2012.

The Nation celebrated and West Felton took the opportunity to thank their twelve surviving veterans with a big party in the grounds of the Punch Bowl,organised by Des & Colleen Hughes and West Felton branch members.
