The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

Sunday 8th November 2026 There is the Remembrance Parade through Pershore.  The Parade will march off at 10.15 hrs from Pershore Leisure Centre.  All members who are able to march are encouraged to take part.  Dress code is collar and tie with smart coat or jacket (or equivalent) with medals.  (Medals of deceased close family can be worn on the right).  Any members who use wheel chairs can be assisted by relatives or Branch members.  The Parade terminates at Pershore Abbey where there will be a service of remembrance.

Sunday 8th November 2026 There is a Remembrance Service at Wick war memorial starting at 14.45 hrs.

Wednesday 11th November 2026  There is an Armistice Day Service at the Cross of Sacrifice in Pershore cemetery.  The Service starts at 10.45 hrs.
