Help and Support

How does the Royal British Legion help?

The Royal British Legion provides lifelong support to serving and ex-serving personnel and their families. People may face challenges such as employment issues, financial difficulties, housing or homelessness concerns, barriers to living independently, mental and physical health challenges, or a lack of community connection. We are here all year round to ensure that service personnel, veterans and their families have access to any support that they might need.

We provide a wide range of support for the Armed Forces community. Our welfare services offer financial support, legal guidance on appealing decisions, dementia specialist support, and recovery services. We also host online information guides to help the currently serving and ex-service community find the support available.

Whatever issues people face, we can direct you to the most appropriate RBL service, and if there is ever a reason we can't help, our vast network of partner charities and organisations means we will know someone who can.
