Teaching Remembrance in 2025

This year the RBL's Teaching Remembrance Programme has produced a range of free resources to help connect children and young people with Remembrance:

• New EYFS Resources: our first ever materials for Early Years children are now available to download, using creativity and play to introduce our youngest learners to Remembrance. You can find out more and download them here: Teaching Remembrance | Learning Resources | Royal British Legion

• Key Stage 1-3 Resources: our ever-popular resources for Key Stage 1-3 have been refreshed for 2025 - with VE and VJ content, case studies and beautiful illustrations, they are ideal for schools, families and youth groups. You can find them here: Teaching Remembrance | Learning Resources | Royal British Legion

• 11th November - Remembrance Assembly: the digital Remembrance Assembly for 9-14 year olds is back this November. Hosted by veteran JJ Chalmers, the programme uses art, music, poetry and voices from across the Armed Forces Community to connect children with Remembrance.
