Poppy Appeal 2026

It’s that time of year again, and we are delighted to be supporting the Tesco Hythe Poppy Appeal 2026.
We are currently seeking volunteers to help support the appeal at Tesco Hythe, helping us raise vital funds for the Royal British Legion and those it supports.
Appeal Dates: Saturday 31 October to Saturday 7 November 2026
Volunteer Hours: 8:00am – 8:00pm (subject to volunteer availability)

To help ensure we can cover as many shifts as possible:

• Volunteer shifts will be arranged in 2-hour slots (eg: 8 -10 /10 - 12 etc)
• Each slot will require 2–3 volunteers
• Shifts will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis

If you would like to volunteer, please email your availability to [email protected]

If possible, please provide several date and time options, as this will help us accommodate as many volunteers as possible.

Poppy Pins are also available from the bar with a minimum suggested donation of £3.

Anyone interested in joining the committee and helping with next year's Poppy Appeal should contact our Poppy Appeal Coordinator Victoria Carrick [email protected]
