Although 'Remembrancetide' is the period in October/November that people associate with the Poppy Appeal, fundraising is carried out throughout the year with events such as Armed Forces day and by businesses and using all year tins to collect loose change from customers.

The people of Mansfield, in my opinion, are among the most generous in the country and donate thousands of pounds every year.

The 'Poppy Shop' is usually an empty town centre shop. The Poppy stand in the Four Seasons Centre will know where we are. This year the Poppy Shop will be at 3 Clumber Street and will be open from Saturday 26th October 2024
