BRANCH MEETINGS ARE HELD AT THE FOREST TOWN ARENA, CLIPSTONE ROAD WEST, FOREST TOWN, NG19 0EE ON THE 1ST TUESDAY OF EVERY MONTH COMMENCING AT 7.30PM.
New members are always welcome. You do not have to have served in the armed forces but simply support the aims of the Royal British Legion which are to support the serving and ex-service community wherever they can.

UPCOMING EVENTS
The Mansfield branch of the RBL will be launching their Poppy Appeal at the Civic Centre at 10am on Thursday 24th October. All are welcome to attend.
After the launch we will be distributing tins in Mansfield Town Centre and need volunteers to help.
We will also need help to collect the tins in after 11am on the 11th November.
If anyone wishes to take a tin out for half an hour or so then please call in at the Poppy Shop which this year is at number 3 Clumber Street.
Asking for tins and Poppy boxes.
Our Boundaries are the railway bridge on Woodhouse Road to the North, The junction of Big Barn Lane and Southwell Road West to the East, Morrisons on Sutton Road to the South and the River Meden to the West.

TIMINGS FOR REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY & ARMISTICE DAY
On Remembrance Sunday there will be the normal parade from the Civic Centre to St Peter's & St Paul's Church after the laying of wreaths and a short service.
Parade forms from 0930hrs to 0945hrs. Wreath layers to be in the civic centre mall for no later than 0950hrs to be marshalled prior to wreath laying at 1000hrs.
Any
veterans wishing to parade and march should form up behind the Regular/Reserve Army if present. If not then form up behind the Standard Party. ALL VETERANS ARE WELCOME.
ARMISTICE DAY
There will be a short service held at the old Town Memorial on Carr Bank Park at 11am when the Last Post will be sounded and a 2 minute silence observed. Please form up for 1055hrs. All are welcome.
