26 April

 Ceremonies marking the 108th anniversary of the Zeebrugge Raid (8.45am-1pm). Includes unveiling of a bench in honour of the late Jim Ellard of the Royal Marines Association. Register via www.brugge.be/saintgeorgesday2026

 Interfaith ceremony to honour veterans in the presence of a Ukrainian delegation, Cathédrale des Saints Archanges, Avenue de Stalingrad 34, 1000 Brussels (4pm start). Register by 20/04 via https://events.mil.be/event/1699/

 First Friday of the Month, social, from 6.30pm. The Foyer, De Warandepoort, Markt 7b, 3080 Tervuren 

3 May

 British Day commemorations, Hotton: Mass at Hotton Church (9.45am), followed by RBL service at the war cemetery (11.30am) in the presence of new Defence Attaché Colonel Nick Thom and Brigade Piron veteran Henri d'Oultremont. RBL ceremony at the 51st (Highland) Division memorial in La Roche-en-Ardenne (around 3pm). Car-sharing is possible. Contact: [email protected]

18 May

 Ceremony at Isières cemetery in memory of British soldiers killed in the Battle of La Cavée on 18/19 May 1940. The commemoration (6.15pm) is followed by refreshments at the paratroopers' club-house in Meslin-l'Évêque.  Annual branch commemoration at Evere/Brussels CWGC cemetery, with the Military Wives Choir. Please arrive by 11.15am

 Battle of the Somme 110th anniversary. Gala dinner (30 June), Royal Picardie Hotel, reservations via Somme Branch [email protected]. Thiepval commemoration (1 July, 11.45am) in the presence of HRH the Princess Royal, Ambassador Sir Thomas Drew KCMG and RBL National President Vice Admiral Paul Bennett CB OBE

 Remembrance Sunday, Heverlee CWGC cemetery. Followed by lunch, venue tbc

 Europe in Exile colloquium at the Belgian Senate. Organised by the Tenby Memorial Committee and War Heritage Institute

4 January Pegasus Remembrance Walk, commemorating 13 Para's victory at the Battle of Bure & the Belgian SAS. Starts at RUS Bure football club (Batis d'Haurt, 6927 Bure) at 9.30am. Organised by 101st Airborne Belgian Friendly, the walk raises funds for the RBL. Contact Laurent Olivier
