Belong

Be part of a community that believes in our cause, building meaningful relationships with like-minded people in one of our local or national branches.

Support

Whether it’s fundraising, championing Remembrance or just being on hand to help others – members contribute to making sure that people can access the services and support we provide.

Do

Take a leading role in the organisation by reaching out to members in your community, putting forward new initiatives or voting on what we do and how we do it.

Youth membership is a great way for young people to learn more about Remembrance whilst supporting the Armed Forces community.

Our diverse membership can share their experiences of life in the Armed Forces community and in doing so can help ensure that future generations remember those who served.

"I love being a member. I feel like part of the family and I've made so many new friends." - Ellie, Royal British Legion Youth Member

Become a Youth Member

Youth membership is free for anyone aged 12-18 years old. To join a completed paper application is required with consent from a parent or guardian.

Youth groups and local branches

Organisations like the Guides, Scouts or one of the Cadet organisations can become affiliated to a local Royal British Legion branch. This is another great way of sharing the experience of Legion membership with younger people.
