Taunton Branch has consistently increased the amount raised locally for the Poppy Appeal. The appeal struggled during the Covid pandemic but following the appointment in 2022 of Martin Hughes as Poppy Appeal Organiser and the amazing efforts by him and his wife Mandy and their team of volunteers, led to year on year increases and more than £100,000 was raised in 2024.
