Taunton Branch members have partnered with other veterans groups to undertake the following visits:
September 2021 - The Normandy Beaches (including brief ceremonies at Pegasus Bridge and The New British Normandy Memorial)
Tyne Cot Commonwealth War Graves - the biggest WWI cemetery
2021 Tour visit to Pegasus Bridge
September 2022 - World War One war cemeteries and memorials (including ceremonies at Thiepval and Tyne Cot memorials and participation in the Last Post ceremonies at The Menin Gate in Ypres)

September 2023 - The Normandy Beaches (including a visit to the Bayeux Tapestry and brief acts of remembrance ceremonies at Pegasus Bridge and The New British Normandy Memorial)
2024 visit to TocH - WWI rest centre Talbot House in Poperinge, Belgium
September 2025 - Normandy including more time at Dunkirk and Arras.
2025 Ulster Tower memorial
September 2026 - a trip is planned to visit Arnhem
The organisation of these trips is not undertaken by The Royal British Legion but enquiries about future activities should be directed to our Branch Chairman or Chaplain.
