     Armed Forces Week

     Raise Flag for Armed Forces Week

     Time: 1100                       Location: Memorial Park Cleckheaton 

     Week Commencing  22nd June 2026

     Crosses laid on War Graves 

     Branch Members to lay crosses on all graves in Spenborough, supported by local Schools

      Saturday   27th June 2026 

      Armed Forces Day 

      Time: TBC                        Location: Memorial Park Cleckheaton 

      The Ceremony will include Hymns, Prayers, The Last Post, Silence,       

      Reveille and the laying of wreaths. 

2.   October 2026

      Saturday 24th October 2026  

      Start of Poppy Appeal

3.   November 2026

      Date TBC 

      Ladies Section Coffee Morning 

      Time: 10:00am - 12noon    Location: Central Methodist Hall, Cleckheaton.

      Opposite Memorial Park.

 4.   Monday  2nd November 2026

       Opening Garden of Remembrance Cleckheaton

       Time: 10:15am                 

        Location: In front of Rowlands Chemist, Market Street, Cleckheaton.                                                                               Hymns, Prayers, Last Post, Reveille & Laying of Crosses.

  5.   Friday 6th November 2026

        School Remembrance Parade 

       Time: 10:30am  for 11:00am Location: Cleckheaton

       Parade Led by Branch Minister for schools in the Memorial Park

       for Wreath laying, followed by a Refreshments at ST Pauls Church Hall  

 6.    Sunday 8th November 2026

        Time: 10:45am for 11:00 -  Gathering at memorial

        Time:  2:00pm Remembrance Sunday Parade 

        Location: Memorial Park, Cleckheaton

        Parade Led by a Band (TBC) from Cleckheaton Town Hall to the Memorial Park

        for Wreath laying, followed by a Remembrance Service at Church TBC at 3.00pm.
