1.  June - 2024

     Week Commencing 3rd June 2024 - D Day Commemorations - To Be Confirmed

     Monday - 24th June 2024 - Crosses laid on War Graves

     Branch Members to lay crosses on all graves in Spenborough by           

     Members and supported by local Schools.

     Monday - 24th June 2024 - Flag Raising for Armed Forces Week

                                            Location:Memorial Gardens, Cleckheaton.

     Monday - 29th June 2024 - Armed Forces Day Celebration

     Time: TBC                        Location: Memorial Park Cleckheaton 

     The Ceremony will include Hymns, Prayers, The Last Post, Silence,       

     Reveille and the laying of wreaths. 

2.   October - 2024

      Saturday - 26th October 2024  - Start of Poppy Appeal

3.   November - 2024

      Saturday - 2nd November 2024 - Ladies Section Coffee Morning 

      Time: 10:00am - 12noon   Location: Central Methodist Hall, Cleckheaton.

      Opposite Memorial Park.

      Monday - 4th November 2023 - Opening of the Garden of Remembrance

                                                       (Cleckheaton)

      Time: 10:15am                 Location: In front of Rowlands Chemist ,                                                                                                                 Market Street, Cleckheaton.                                                            Hymns, Prayers, Last Post, Revellie & Laying of Crosses.

      Sunday - 10th November 2024 - Remembrance Sunday Parade 

      Time: 2:00pm                     Location: Cleckheaton

      Parade Led by a Band (TBC) from Cleckheaton Town Hall to

      the Memorial Park for Wreath laying, followed by a Remembrance

      Service at St.John’s Church behind the Town Hall at 3.00pm.  

      Monday - 11th November 2023 -  Armistice Service

      Time: 10:15am                  Location: Memorial Park, Cleckheaton
