At Rayleigh Branch, our team of Poppy Appeal Organisers work hard to cover two local Poppy Appeal districts:

POPPY APPEAL TOTALS

National Total::  £45,975,108.04

Essex Total :: £1,366,276.14

Nationally:: We are up by 4 per cent

Essex County is up by 6 per cent.

The Legion Charity spend £10,000.00 PER HOUR ON WELFARE.

Rayleigh, Hadleigh & Thundersley total raised by the team of volunteers in both branches is £78,766.55

We thank Rayleigh Club for the donation this year of £279.32

Fund raising will start over again for the 2018 appeal.

We are expecting a big year in 2018 with the 100 anniversary of the end of WW1.

Essex Launch the 2018 Appeal at Lakeside on the 27th October. There will be a parachute display from the RED DEVILS FREE FALL TEAM. We are told they will be landing in the lake????
