Below are various events for your diary, not only what's happening in Poyntzpass Branch but also within the local N.I. and G.B. Branches of The Royal British Legion. 

13th September 2026 - Poyntzpass RBL laying up of standard and dedication service.

To all Branches Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland Districts.
Poyntzpass Branch is getting a new Standard and we would like your Branch representative and  Branch Standard to join us for the very important Parade and Service of Dedication .
This is planned for the afternoon of Sunday 13th September 2026, commencing at 3pm.   Meeting at the RBL hall (49  Church Street, Poyntzpass, BT35 6SW ) from 2pm with parade moving off at 2.45 and Service in the Presbyterian Church (28 Meeting Street)  at 3pm.  After the return parade there will be tea in the hall and we warmly invite everyone to join us there for refreshments and comradeship. 
We will provide more information regarding parking, changing facilities, and any updated timings closer to the date, when we have an idea of numbers involved, but in the meantime would like you to note the date and if possible keep it free to join us.   It would be most helpful for us too, if you could let us know if you plan to attend.

  • 22nd June - Poyntzpass RBL Hall. The RBL Group 9 general meeting is scheduled to take place this evening, all members are welcome... please attend if you can!
  • 24th June - Tyrone's Ditches (Pipe Band) treasure hunt
  • 11th July - Islandbridge NWM Gardens (Dublin), WW1 Commemoration event.
  • TBC August - Poyntzpass RBL treasure hunt.
  • 30th August - Randalstown RBL laying up of standard and dedication service.
  • 05th September - Loughbrickland RBL, Standard Bearer training.
  • 13th September - Poyntzpass RBL laying up of standard and dedication service.
  • 19th September - Dromore RBL, anniversary service.
  • 09th October - Poyntzpass RBL Hall Social Dance.  The Brook Boys are returning for another evening of music, dance and good craic.
  • 23rd October - Fermanagh RBL NI Poppy Appeal Launch (TBC).
  • 24th October - Presbyterian Church House (Belfast), NI Festival of Remembrance.
  • 25th October - Belfast City Hall, NI Field of Remembrance.
  • 07th November - London, Festival of Remembrance.
  • 08th November - London, Cenotaph March Past.
