Introduction.

The RBL Club An independent Ltd Company that support the objectives of The Royal British Legion, who organise, run and provide social events and activities for club members in the Clubhouse overlooking Master Park since 1926.

The RBL Clubhouse is essentially a social community space in Oxted. Whilst originally a primary hub for military veterans and their families which continues today, the club has evolved to also connect with the broader local Oxted community.

The RBL club serves as a vital community space by providing:

Comradeship and social activities: For anyone that wishes to be a member.
Connect, Remember and Support : The club provides "The Oxted Branch" space to connect with the local community, remember the service and sacrifice and support the Armed Forces community their serving personnel, veterans and their families.
A sense of belonging: The club helps to foster a sense of belonging within the Oxted community.
Open membership: The club welcomes non-military members, creating a more diverse community environment.
Hosting a range of events: The club hosts activities and events that are open to the public, such as: The Oxted Pram race, The Oxted Remembrance parade and Special entertainment events.
Providing facilities for hire: The club has function rooms and other facilities that can be hired by Anyone for social events such as: an affordable wedding party venue, a private party, talks, meetings, a celebration of life or other community activities.
Supporting local causes: The club engages with local charities and causes, reinforcing their role as a community-focused organization.

Facilities:

The Oxted RBL Clubhouse offers snooker, pool and darts and has two bar areas with pleasant and adaptable seating arrangements. A warm and inviting space all year round.

Bar prices are very reasonably priced when compared to the local pubs. Live entertainment is organised most months. During the summer months there is the opportunity to sit outside with views across Master Park.

Membership

Club Members must be a Member of a RBL Branch (eg Oxted & District Branch)

All Members are reminded of the necessity to sign in all non-Members into the Club. This is to ensure that we remain fully compliant with licencing laws.
