The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

View the Facebook page for details of Remembrance Services.

A small reminder of our troops and what they do.  (This obviously encompasses all of our Armed Forces but Soldier is used as a generative term.)

It's the Soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the Press.

It's the Soldier, not the
poet who has given us the freedom of speech.
It's the Soldier, not the politicians that ensures our right to Life, Liberty , and the pursuit of Happiness.

It's the Soldier, that salutes the flag, that serves beneath it, who's coffins are draped by it.

We would do well to remember this.
