On Saturday 27 June 2026 the Loja Branch held its annual Poppy Appeal Launch Party at Hotel Paraiso near Moraleda. The event was combined with Armed Forces Day celebrations.
The evening was attended by 41 members and their guests including members of the Mijas Costa Branch of the RBL and the Spain South District Chair, Margery Taylor MBE.
Everyone enjoyed the BBQ platter with some very generous starters. The event raised 440 euros towards this years Poppy Appeal, thanks to the generosity of all those who purchased raffle tickets.
