2024 Liskeard Drum Head Ceremony 9th June.

Today, 9th June 2024, Liskeard attended the Drum Head ceremony on the parade this afternoon which was organised the Liskeard Royal British Legion, to commerate D-Day 80.
The service was led by the RBL chaplains Theresa Conway, and Kevin Grant.
It was very well attended by well over 100 Liskeard residents.
On parade was Liskeard Army cadets, RAF
Cadets, Scouts, Beavers, Guides and 1st Liskeard Rainbows.
Sheryll Murray parliamentary candidate.
was in attendance and several members of the local branches of the RBL and RNA.
Music for the drum head was played by the Liskeard silver band.
Four wreaths were layed, to mark the event, one on behalf of the town council, the others on behalf of the RBL, RNA and QARNNS.
I would like to thank everyone for turning up to the D-Day 80 Drum Head ceremony.
