Beacon Lighting
D-Day, a historic day that marked the allied invasion of Normandy during World War II, was commemorated this 80th year with a Beacon Lighting event at the Institute.
Fulbourn RBL branch is affiliated with both the 57th Fulbourn Scouts and the 104 Air Cadet Squadron and members of both organisations supported this event by providing readings and undertaking the lighting of the beacon.
