AGM 2024

AGM - November 2024

The branch AGM was held on Sunday 10th November 2025 at Townley Hall, Fulbourn.

Remembrance  This was led by the Chairman . A special mention was made to remember Ron Payne who had passed away on Thursday. Ron held many roles within the legion and also within Scouting.
Apologies Lucy Lewis Sarah Hurst
Approval of Minutes of the 2023 AGM
These had been circulated before the meeting and were available on the Branch website . There being no amendments.
Proposed by Peter Collis Seconded by Paul Thorbinson
Presidents and Chairmans Reports
These were in the form of an annual report which were read out by the secretary. The chairman added that he was going to mention individuals. However, as the events are all caried out by the team it was not appropriate. The aim of the branch is to ensure that we are able to make people aware of remembrance and the associated work around that. As most people have someone, they are aware of who have been involved in a conflict.
Treasures Report
The latest Branch Accounts were approved by the Branch Committee on 1 July 2024.
An Independent Examination of the Summary of Income and Expenditure together with books and

A copy of the Branch Accounts was issued to the County Membership Support Officer on 25 July. One query
was raised by County which was answered / clarified on 5 September.
