Remembrance Sunday 2026
The Royal British Legion Corsham Branch invites members of the community to join us for our annual Remembrance Sunday Service on Sunday 8 November 2026.
The service will be held at St Bartholomew's Church, Corsham, followed by a parade through the town to the War Memorial on Lacock Road, where wreaths will be laid in memory of those who gave their lives in service to our nation.
Remembrance Sunday provides an opportunity for the community to come together to honour the courage, service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces, past and present, and to remember all those affected by conflict.
Taking Part
Any groups, organisations or individuals wishing to participate in the parade and/or lay a wreath, who have not already been contacted, are invited to get in touch with the Corsham Branch Chairman/Secretary.
Spectators
Members of the public are warmly encouraged to attend and support this important community event. Designated viewing areas will be available along the parade route and at the War Memorial.
Reception
Following the service and parade, invited guests, Royal British Legion members, serving personnel, veterans, families and parade participants are invited to a reception at the Royal British Legion Club, Newlands Road, Corsham, where refreshments will be provided.
