Branch meetings 

• Sunday 13th July, 1pm, summer quarter Branch meeting, AFC and RAFAC Joint Cadet Building, Harvey St, Oswaldtwistle. BB5 3LT
  
  
• Sunday 12th October, 1pm, Branch quarter meeting/AGM. Oswaldtwistle Social Club, Rhyddings St, Oswaldtwistle. BB5 3EP

Remembrance/commemoration

• VJ Short Service of commemoration Oswaldtwistle War memorial 1pm
• VJ Celebration at Rhyddings Park Coach House tickets available £7.50 . Cream tea and 1940's entertainment. Tel Hilary 07934024623 for details. 
• Remembrance Sunday, second Sunday in November, sees us supporting Hyndburn Borough Council Civic parades for our community. In the morning in the township of Church for an 11am service at the Gatty Park Peace Memorial and in the afternoon starting with a parade marching off at 2pm followed by a service of Remembrance at approximately 2:30pm at Oswaldtwistle War Memorial. The Oswaldtwistle parade and service is traditionally well attended with many of our affiliated youth groups taking an active part.
  
  
• Armistice Day, 11th November. We pay informal homage at Oswaldtwistle war memorial at 11am. A small gathering takes place to observe the two-minute silence at 11a.m. Anyone wishing to join us is more than welcome.
