The Chippenham Branch will be meeting at the Buttercross, Chippenham High Street. Everyone is invited to come and share at 11am to launch the Poppy Appeal 2026.

We have a variety of Poppy Appeal Merch from festival bands to 2026 Poppy pins. These will be available in Emery Gate, Chippenham.
Donations for poppies enable us to support the Armed Forces community in various ways, both locally and nationally. The money we raise funds projects such as the Battle Back Centre, which serves as the first point of contact for wounded and sick military personnel.
Our welfare team supports our local Veterans in crisis with:
- Homelessness
- Debt Advice
- Benefits support
- Housing care and independent living
- Support for physical and mental health

The new plastic-free poppy, made entirely from paper
We’ve been developing the plastic-free poppy for the last three years, in collaboration with expert partners, to reduce its use of single-use plastic and be economical, sustainable, and less impactful to the environment.
The paper poppy is made from an innovative blend of renewable fibres from responsible sources and can be recycled in ordinary paper recycling collections. The poppy will be stick to any surface using a adhesive backing provided.
We set out not just to reduce single-use plastic, but to eliminate it.
Hundreds of iterations were explored during the design process, scrutinising form, finish and usability. Paper was chosen over expensive and complicated bio-based plastics to create a single-material solution that can be easily recycled.
