Castle Donington District Poppy Appeal 2026

Following the fantastic support of our local community, the Castle Donington District Poppy Appeal raised an overall total of £12,500 in 2025. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered or supported the Appeal.

We are now preparing for the 2026 Poppy Appeal, which will launch nationally on Thursday 22nd October and continue through to Armistice Day, Wednesday 11th November.

Collection Tins

From Thursday 22nd October, Poppy Appeal collection tins will be available in shops and businesses throughout the Castle Donington District.

Tabletop Stalls – Castle Donington

Our volunteer-run tabletop stalls will be at:

Aldi – Station Road

Co-op – Station Road

Saturday 24th October – Saturday 7th November

Monday to Wednesday: 10:00am – 5:00pm

Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 10:00am – 8:30pm

Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm

East Midlands Airport

We will also have a tabletop stall in the check-in hall at East Midlands Airport.

Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm

Remembrance Wreaths

All Remembrance wreaths that have been ordered will be available for collection or delivery from 1st October.

We also have a small number of additional Type B and Type C Remembrance wreaths available for local residents wishing to lay a wreath this Remembrance.
