LAYING OF CROSSES ON WAR GRAVES

Traditionally, the Carlisle and Stanwix Branch has laid a cross each year on every known war grave in our 3 cemeteries at Stanwix, Upperby and the main cemetery at Dalston Road. Assistance with this task would be welcome, if only to ensure that the stories of our heroes from earlier conflicts are passed on to a new and younger generation.

If you would like to join in with this task, please contact our Branch Secretary for more details.
