If you keep doing the same thing, the same result happens.    We know that we are meeting our obligations for both Remembrance, with Acts of Remembrance at Hagley and Churchill War Memorials, and Welfare, through a very successful Pop-Up Poppy Stall in Hagley.  Our attempts to run social events have not been successful since the onset of CoVid, as many of our older supporters are less keen to venture out than they were five years ago.

So we are trying something new, which is open to everyone, and costs very little to organise (we would prefer to spend British Legion funds on welfare and remembrance).

Our first Beer 'n' Banter evening was quality rather than quantity.  It was a very pleasant hour spend talking about Hagley as it was, and particularly the changes that the wartime generations would have seen.  Definitely worth repeating.   Watch this space for further details.
