Ballyclare Branch has shown it's fundraising skills once again with it's Poppy Appeal total. We've topped £17808.71, coming so close to last year’s record total of £19337.79

Thank you to all the people of Ballyclare and surrounding areas who have been so generous once again. 

The Branch Chairman, Officers and members of Ballyclare Branch would also like to take this opportunity to thank our outgoing Poppy Appeal Organiser Mrs Violet Wallace. Violet has been the Poppy Appeal Organiser in Ballyclare for over 18 years, after taking on the position temporarily, and has now decided to step down from this position.

In February Violet received a letter from the Head of the Poppy Appeal, thanking her for her time as PAO and for raising in excess of £244,957.90 in her years of dedicated service. With what was raised this year that brings her total to over £250,000.

We think this is a great achievement and a true example of 'Service, Not Self'.
