Morley

On the 19th July 2013 The Royal British Legion was granted the Freedom of Richmond Town by the Richmond Town Council.  This is the first Town or City that has given the Freedom to the Royal British Legion.    Members of the Morley branch went to this significant event for the British Legion which was a wonderful day for all the members of the RBL that had travelled from all over the country.  There were 47 Legion Standards in the parade and the National Chairman of the Legion was present for the parade.   The salute was taken by the Mayor of Richmond.
