New County Standard Dedication Service – St Marys CE Church Shrewton

The Dedication of the New County Standard took place on Sunday 15th April. The County Chaplain, The Reverend Canon Eleanor Rance, did a marvellous service for us, with the Shrewton Silver Band Bugler doing a great job on a the day. Thank you to all of the Church Staff and volunteers who helped us ensure the day went smoothly and to parishioners who allowed us to join their Sunday Service. Our Standard Bearers lead by Brian Mitchell did a great job to represent the County at the Event and a huge thank you to those who were able to come on the day.
Many thanks also to Len Blake for putting up all the  parking signage  on the day. Maureen Hansford not only joined us as a Standard Bearer for the day but also organised an excellent buffet for all the guests at The RBL Shrewton Club so a very large thank you to Maureen, her family and the Club for what was a very successful day. Thank you to all of the branch representatives who were able to attend the service with over 42 RBL Guest and branch attendees there is was an excellent turnout for the day. Photographs can be seen HERE
