Today, as I was down for the opening of the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey, I had a chat with our Director General Charles Byrne. On behalf of the County of South and West Yorkshire, I thanked him for his 10 years with the Legion and wished him well for the future.

I had a selfie with him, which is below.

I thought it was the right thing to do and he thanked the County Committee and everyone in the county for support and kind words and wished everyone well.
