cases completed

So as you can see, the need is growing and we forecast that we will complete over 1300 cases by the end of the year.

Most Common Grants include: Mobility scooters & electric wheelchairs, Stairlifts & Bathroom adaptations, Riser/recliner chairs, Deposit and rent advance, Removal expenses, Household goods and furniture, and priority debts - council tax and rent arrears.

We continue to make a difference to people's lives. One of our most recent cases has been to provide assistance to a young mother with 3 small children. She is estranged from her husband (a serving soldier), and we were notified of her plight through the Women's Refuge that she had been moved to for her and her children's safety. The council found her accommodation but she had nothing to move in with so we provided funds for clothes, toys, carpets and furniture.

Please read the thank you messages below to see how someone's life has been turned around by financial assistance from the Legion and you will realise how important and worthwhile your support is….
