All Yeovil & District Schools, Youth/Adult Organisations, Businesses and Individuals are once again invited to enter the Pittards Poppy Memorial Trophy - Yeovil & District RBL, Poppy Remembrance Display Competition,

Displays and Theme:

Displays should be themed on Remembrance and can be either in a Garden or window, a Shop Window/Premises, Schools or Organisations Grounds etc, as long as the Display can be viewed/seen by the General Public. With the number of 80th Remembrance Anniversaries this year, the standard and number of displays is expected to be even higher.

Competition Judging & Date's:

This year's Poppy Appeal starts on the Wednesday 23rd October and continues through to Remembrance Sunday on November 10th, Members of the Yeovil & District Branch of TRBL will judge the displays to choose a winner. therefore judging will take place over Friday 8th and Saturday 9th November. The winner of the  Poppy Remembrance Display Competition will be presented with the Pittards Poppy Memorial Trophy and runners up with certificates on the afternoon of judging or alternatively on the following Monday Morning.

Participation to enter competition:

As yet there is no formal registration to enter the competition, however please let us know of your display via our FB page YEOVIL AND DISTRICT RBL or email the Branch Secretary malcolmemery@btinternet.com so all displays can be visited by the judging team.
