1st Wicklewood Guides were delighted to receive the Youth Cup Award from Norfolk Royal British Legion Chair, Paul 'Smudge' Smith. He visited the unit to present the certificate and tell the girls about his experiences in the airforce. 

The Guide unit were recognised for their continued support of the Poppy Appeal, and the ethos of the Royal British Legion, over many years, assisting with preparing the poppy boxes that are distributed to shops and schools around Wymondham and the surrounding villages, as well as preparing the collecting tins. 

The girls were pleased to receive the award and to take part in some Girlguiding UK activities sponsored by the Royal Airforce.
