"On behalf of the Lancaster & District Choral Society, I just wanted to say a very big thank you to you all, for supporting our event so magnificently. We really appreciated the time and effort you all put in, making it such a fantastic event. We are starting to get some really good feedback and I have to say, the Standards are getting plenty of praise. You certainly helped to create the atmosphere we wanted and make it such a poignant occasion. I believe we successfully achieved our goal of commemorating, in our own small way, the sacrifice of so many service personnel 100 years ago during World War One. Well done! We will remember them.
When I get some information as to how much money we managed to raise for The Royal British Legion, I’ll let you know*. I’m also hoping to get some photographs. If I do, I’ll pass them on.
Best wishes, Roger
