The branch is proud to run a breakfast club for the armed forces community in conjunction with Rockcliff Rugby Club.
If you are an armed forces veteran or are currently serving we would love to see you there. We provide a hot drink and sandwich and an opportunity to have a chat with people who have a similar background.
Our breakfast club members have a shared military history covering the last 6 decades so there will be plenty of common experiences to talk about, as well as help or advice that can be offered if needed.
The club runs on the last Saturday every month between 10am and 12 noon at Rockcliff Rugby club in Whitley Bay.
Occasionally we have to move the breakfast club forward or back a week at short notice, if this happens it will be announced on our facebook page. Changes are usually made around our commitments to supporting the Poppy Appeal in late October or Armed Forces Day in June.
You do not need to be a member of the Royal British Legion to join us, just a member of the armed forces community.
