These are some photos of the Wreath laying we did at Whitley Bay and North Shields on the 6th of June 2019.

The lady at the bottom of the page is called Betty, she was an WAAF aircraft mechanic during WW2. On D Day one of her jobs was to unbolt seats from some of the transport aircraft to make room for casualties being brought back on stretchers.
