The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.
Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

This will follow on from a parade which leaves from the site of the former Queen Alexandra Sixth Form College (Hawkey's Lane Campus) at 10.45am

- War Memorial - The Links, Whitley Bay 2.55pm
This will follow on from a parade which leaves what was the Branch office in Victoria Terrace, Whitley Bay at 2.25pm.

Please note there is no official event at the Links in the morning due to our Branch members and the local councillors being committed to the North Shields parade and other events in the North Tyneside area.
