Herre is the mail received by the NE War Memorial Group that has started the attempt to trace relatives of Graham Lawson, the first British casualty in Cyprus in 1974.
I am carrying out research ahead of the 60th anniversary of the

Separately I have found a cutting of an interview with his mother, Margaret Lawson, of Waskerley Road, that refers to his younger brother, Trevor Lawson, serving in the Army catering corps.
Graham wasn't quite 18, so Trevor must have been only 16 or 17 himself i.e. born about 1958, and could be in the area.
Could you ask the British Legion to put out an appeal for any knowledge of this Lawson family?
As I said he is not recorded by the CWGC or on the Village war memorial
Best wishes
