The Toddington Branch of The Royal British Legion would like to invite you to join them. We have enquiries from many people who are under a misapprehension that you have had to have served in Her Majesty’s forces to be a member of The British Legion This is not the case, the majority of our branch members were never in the services. The Toddington Branch was formed in 1939 at the outset of WWII by the women of the village to look after the children of servicemen who were away fighting for their country.
Membership is open to everyone. If you have an interest in the objectives of the Legion and want to help and support those who have served and their families, come and join us. We welcome men and women of all ages, whether they have served in the Armed Forces or not.
