Did you know?  Only three clauses from the Magna Carta of 1215 remain on the statute books – those guaranteeing the freedom of the Church, the “ancient liberties” of the City of London and the all important Clause 39, which lays down the idea of due process under law. The rest have been repealed or superseded!
