Membership of The Royal British Legion is open to all adults, not just those who are serving or have served in HM Armed Forces, and we always welcome new members.

Our Branch members pay an Affiliation Fee to The Royal British Legion - currently £16 per annum -  and an administration fee of £0.50 per annum towards Branch expenses such as postage etc. The Affiliation Fee will rise to £17 per annum with effect from 1 October 2016.

Persons interested in joining The Royal British Legion can find out more by contacting the Village Branch's Membership Secretary by email to claire.jeffery@rbli.co.uk.  She'll be pleased to provide you with an Application Form  ......  by ticking the Gift Aid box on this form, the Legion will be able to claim from Her Majesty's Customs and Revenue an amount of 25 pence for every £1 of Affiliation Fee and any donations!

It's worth pointing out that persons joining the Legion between 1st October and 30th June will be issued with a Membership Card that will expire on the 30th September that year, with the next year's subscriptions being due again on 1st October.  However, those joining on or after 1st July but before 1st October will receive a Membership Card expiring rhe following year, thereby effectively getting 3 months free membership!

The Royal British Legion Village Branch plays an active role in the local community, and we rely on the help and involvement of our members to carry out this work. We look forward to welcoming new members of any age and background to the Village Branch!
