The Royal British Legion Hannover Branch

Remembrance

The first Sunday after armistice day marks Remembrance Sunday. Like many other branches, the RBL Hannover branch organised a remembrance service. The District Chaplain held a beautiful service, reminding everyone present of the sacrifices made every they, no matter how small.
To mark those who gave the ultimate sacrifice over two thousand poppy crosses were laid at the CWGC Hannover prior to the service.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
