Whether you're at an organised event, in your home, outside your front door, in a private space or in a socially distanced public area, we ask that you to stand silently for 2 minutes at the appointed hour of 11:00am on Remembrance Sunday and again on 11th November, to show your respect for the fallen.

Remembrance Parade & Service at Tewkesbury Abbey

Sunday 14th November 2021 from 0915 - 1120

In 2021, the Town Council plans to held as normal a Remembrance Sunday as possible within the Governments current pandemic guidelines.

Soldiers from the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps, local veterans and youth organisations have gathered in Sun Street at 0915 to march through the town to attend a Remembrance Service at Tewkesbury Abbey.

On completion of the service, the parade formed up in Gander Lane and marched to the town's War Memorial (The Cross) for the Act of Remembrance, two minutes silence and the laying of commemorative wreaths.

Times and details of next year's events will be posted by the Town Council in due course.
