Swanley Crockenhill Hextable

The Swanley, Crockenhill & Hextable Branch was first established in 1938 under the name Swanley, Crockenhill & District and was very active for a number of years before declining to a point where the Branch all but closed.

It was regenerated in 1980, now under the title of Swanley, Crockenhill & Hextable Branch, and was again very active in the area with a Branch Parade every year which saw many Branch members marching through the town.

A new Standard was obtained and dedicated in 2000, this now resides in the care of St Mary's Church, Swanley.  A new Standard was obtained and dedicated in 2024 and is still carried regularly today.

The Branch also attends Remembrance Sunday Parades and Services in all three villages and holds a combined Service of Remembrance at St Mary’s Church, Swanley. We also hold Acts of Remembrance to commemorate VE Day and VJ Day.

We have regularly been in attendance at village fetes and the local Armed Forces Day events.

If you would like your local RBL Branch to attend your event or would like us to do a talk or presentation on what the RBL or the Branch do please do get in touch with the Branch Secretary
