A Branch bar-b-que was held in the picturesque Cornard Lock on Saturday.

Over 40 people came along to enjoy the view, company and the gourmet food.

A fine selection of food ensured that everyone was "fit to burst" by the end - which was finished off with strawberries & cream and a selection of tarts and cakes.

A raffle ensured that the lucky few winners could top up their glasses with a selection of wines and bottles as prizes.

All in all it was a fantastic day - with the sun out and in full glow for the duration.
