A Platoon from Mildenhall USAF was joined by:

Mayor Mrs Sarah Page Deputy Mayor Ms Sue Ayres Councillors, TRBL & RAFA for a memorial service at St Gregorys church.

Together with the USAF standard were the Union, Branch and RAFA Standard.

Wreaths were then laid by the Mayor, RAFA, TRBL and USAF with Prayers led by Rev. Canon Cheryl Collins. Trish Drawbridge played the Lament while wreaths were being laid on the American 486th Bombardment Group Memorial.

Trish then led the Standard Bearers, the Mayor and the USAF dignatory to the British Memorial to Pipe for the laying of the wreaths.

Rob Drawbridge oversaw the Standard Bearers. It all went very well and very orderly.
