Sudbury

The Armed Forces Day Parade took place at 1030hrs on Saturday 26th June in glorious sunshine.

A smaller parade than usual, due to Covid restrictions remaining in place - but still as poignant.

A small contingent of the RBL Sudbury Branch marched up Market Hill led by pipers before halting in front of the townhall.

The Mayor gave a moving speech before the pipers played a melody.

This was followed by prayers led by the Padre.

With the imminent lifting of restrictions it is hoped that the Branch will once again become much more visible in the town.

Many thanks to all involved and the crowd who stopped to watch the parade.
